New Apps Changing the future of E-Marketing Stategies

Adobe unveiled a new set of Apps this week that is sure to change the e-marketing world. The new apps will allow companies to create, manage and deliver highly personalized mobile app experiences to their customers and prospects in real-time.
According to Brad Rencher, senior vice president and general manager, Digital Marketing Business, Adobe, "Developers can now create and deliver mobile apps while marketers manage, measure, and monetize the content, all from within Adobe Marketing Cloud."

Adobe Marketing Cloud will give more power to Marketers and allow for active mobile users to be targeted based on activity and location in real-time. New mobile capabilities include:

  • App development made easy with PhoneGap Enterprise
  • Content management for Digital Publishing Suite (DPS)
  • Measurement of mobile marketing campaigns
  • Support for Apple iBeacons
  • Re-engagement of customers across mobile apps

Adobe Marketing Cloud includes a set of analytics, social, advertising, targeting, Web and app experience management and cross-channel campaign management solutions as well as core services and mobile capabilities that bring together everything marketers need to know about their campaigns.

Between Adobe Marketing Cloud and the other newly launched Adobe Target Premium, which offers A/B testing capabilities of in-app content and targeted experiences based on the users' location and life-cycle data the apps promise to change the e-marketing world for the better. With the unveiling of these new apps, Adobe has secured its top spot mobile app marketing world for the time being.

With this news, other e-marketing companies are left scrambling to create similar apps and technology in order to stay competitive and remain in business.  A launch of this kind with its robust technology threatens the amount of business other marketing firms will get or retain. The power within this app is bound to change the way businesses operate.

Do you think these apps will deliver and impact the e-marketing world based on its potential?

  1. Nicely done Eleise! In fact, if Adobe is looking for another blogger to help promote their new products/services, you could probably get the job!
There are so many new tools out there for today’s e-marketers, and the new Adobe additions are yet another example of products that are becoming more and more easy to use. It was not that long ago that just about anything an e-marketer needed to do required programmers. However, today, with a little research and determining what works for specific needs, e-marketers can do many things on their own. Even small businesses can develop a significant online presence if they work at on a regular basis. The analytics that are now available to help marketers understand the impact of their efforts are particularly amazing and helpful. Regarding your question about whether the new Adobe offering will significantly affect the e-marketing world; I think the updates will have some positive impacts to the extent that the news regarding the products gets out there. However, with everything changing so fast these days, I am not sure how sustainable any competitive advantage gained will be.

The other day I was using my ipad and I wanted too look at a file that needed adobe and it asked if I wanted to download it. I did not even know that I could download adobe on my ipad and everything that you said is new and is really affecting e-marketing.
